Join us for an evening to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, with special insights from main speaker Martina Fitzgerald, best-selling author and political journalist. We’ll also hear from Peaches Kemp, Women On Air training participant and Co-Founder & Director of Itsa… Ltd., the largest independent, indigenous and family owned catering company in Ireland.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with former Women On Air participants, producers, media contacts and like-minded individuals.

Martina Fitzgerald

Martina Fitzgerald is author of ‘Madam Politician: The women at the table of Irish political power’, which was a No.1 bestseller and received huge critical acclaim following its publication in 2018. It was named political book of the year by several newspapers including the Sunday Business Post.

Martina is one of Ireland’s leading political journalists and worked for RTE News & Current Affairs for 18 years until December 2018. As RTE’s Political Correspondent she reported on several general elections, referendums and on the Brexit negotiations from Leinster House as well as from London and Madrid. A graduate of University College Dublin – where she was Auditor of the Politics Society – she is a member of the Editorial Board of UCD’s alumni magazine, Connections.
