Cora Staunton

My name is Cora Staunton I am a former Mayo Ladies Footballer with a career spanning over 24 seasons. I am currently playing Australia Rules with the GWS Giants in Sydney Australia and have been for the last 3 years and also Gaelic football with my club Carnacon.

I wrote my autobiography in 2018 called Cora "Gamechanger" it is the first book by a female gaa player. It won the An Post sports book of the year for 2018

I also had a documentary done on me in 2017/2018 called Cora the Greatest following my move to Australia.

I have been involved in media over the last number of years working with RTE on the radio and tv for both the men's and women's football championship.

I co commentated on the Men's All Ireland Final in 2018.

I am a regular contributor to RTE sport shows and have been on a number of shows in the past e.g. The Late Late Show, Up for the Match, The Marty Squad, Saturday Sport, RTE Club Championship RTE Radio One.

As part of my book promotion I had to appear on a number of TV and Radio programs and also a number of podcasts.

I am also be involved in a number of media appearances in my time in Australia
