I am a passionate environmental scientist working in the heritage and biodiversity sectors since 1998. I have expertise in heritage, biodiversity, climate and sustainable development. Engaging in effective and clear communication is one my strongest attributes. I am a clear and articulate speaker and communicate with purpose whether that is interpersonal, written and on air - radio, television and podcasts. I've been interviewed numerous times for local radio stations, national radio and television about a wide range of topics. I also produced and presented a 40-minute documentary on gothic architecture, available as a link below, and two series of podcasts called Heritage at the Heart. I co-authored a book on wetlands in 2019. I work as a heritage officer and was the first chairperson of the local authority heritage officer network until March 2020. In the early days of my career, I was campaigns manager with the Irish Wildlife Trust, and Natural Environment Officer with An Taisce.
