Women on Air are delighted to announce an evening at The Marker Hotel, Dublin with Mairead McGuinness.
Outgoing European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, and the former First Vice President of the European Parliament, Mairead McGuiness has had a lengthy and varied career at the top level of the European Parliament.
Since taking on the role of European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union in 2020, Mairead has dealt with a global pandemic, a war on the European continent and a surge in inflation as well as right wing extremism. Mairead also worked as a journalist for 24 years across radio, television and broadcast.
Guests are invited to join us for a drinks reception at The Marker Hotel following the event, where you will have the opportunity to network with former Women On Air participants, producers, media contacts and like-minded individuals.
