I was inspired to establish the podcast through conversations with many researchers, who felt they couldn't transition to other fields, sectors or roles. I wanted to explore with others how those journeys had been achieved and to provide a platform for researchers to hear that this shift doesn't mean failure or misdirection, that in fact, it can mean the beginning of a beautiful life decision.
Alongside the podcast, I have roles in the creative performance sector and in research at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT). My background is in career development across the private and academic sectors, supporting students, postdoctoral researchers, academics and professors.
